Welcome to EMFAD Courses. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.emfadcourses.com and the online courses, materials, and services we provide. By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
EMFAD Courses is an online learning platform operated by EMFAD Enterprise Limited, Vienna Court, State House Crescent Rd, Nairobi, Kenya. Contact: info@emfadcourses.com, +254 710 783 351.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or resold; we may suspend accounts showing evidence of credential sharing or abuse. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the platform with a parent or guardian’s consent.
3. Courses, enrolment and access
When you purchase a course you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access that course for your own learning. Unless stated otherwise on the course page, access does not expire while your account remains in good standing. We may update, improve, or restructure course content at any time; where a course is materially reduced or withdrawn, enrolled students will retain access to equivalent replacement content.
4. Payments and pricing
Course prices are displayed in US Dollars on each course page and may change at any time; the price at checkout is the price you pay. Payments are processed securely by our payment partners. An enrolment is complete when payment is confirmed. Where an obvious pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and refund the amount paid in full.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Certificates
Certificates of completion are issued in the account holder’s name after all lessons and the final project of a course are completed. Certificates confirm completion of an EMFAD course; they are not accredited university qualifications and should be represented honestly to employers and institutions.
7. Intellectual property
All course content — videos, text, exercises, images, and downloadable materials — is owned by or licensed to EMFAD Courses and protected by copyright. You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, or publicly share course content. Materials marked as downloadable may be kept for personal use. Work you create in course projects belongs to you.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: share or resell account access; attempt to bypass payment or security measures; upload malicious code; harass other learners or staff in reviews and comments; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose. Course reviews must reflect your genuine experience. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.
9. Disclaimers
Courses are provided for educational purposes. While we work hard to keep content accurate and current, we make no guarantee of specific career, business, or financial outcomes. Content in fields such as finance, tax, and law is general education, not professional advice for your specific situation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EMFAD Courses’ total liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms; where a breach is material (such as content piracy or payment fraud), no refund will be due.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on the website. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
