About this course

Orchestrate containers at scale. Learn pods, deployments, services, and scaling to run reliable applications with Kubernetes.

What you will learn

  • Explain the problems Kubernetes solves and describe the role of each control plane and node component
  • Use kubectl to inspect, deploy and debug workloads, reading events and logs to find root causes
  • Run applications with Deployments, expose them with Services and configure them with ConfigMaps and Secrets
  • Release new versions with zero-downtime rolling updates, health probes and fast rollbacks
  • Size workloads with resource requests and limits and give stateful components persistent storage
  • Route external traffic through an Ingress and package a multi-service application with Helm
