Capstone project: Three Months of Books for a Small Retail Business

Using a provided set of sales, M-Pesa statements, bank statements and supplier invoices, record three months of transactions in an accounting system. Reconcile the bank and M-Pesa accounts each month and run payroll for four staff. Prepare a profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow summary, and a practice tax filing pack. Write a short note to the owner explaining the results and any record-keeping weaknesses you found.

You work through the capstone after the courses and confirm it in your learner area.

Track certificate

You receive a certificate of completion for each course as you finish it. The certificate for the whole track is issued when every included course is complete (all lessons done and all quizzes passed) and you have confirmed the capstone project. It is a certificate of completion from EMFAD Courses, not an accredited qualification.

Track team packs

The same track for a group of named learners, each with their own sign-in. The team admin receives a progress report by email every month. Larger groups, or orders of USD 10,000 or more: ask for an enterprise quote with invoice and bank transfer.
